قدمت للعالم منذ ثلاث عقود مضت صغير و غير جذاب
كان ريشى غريب فخفضت وجهى .. اجنحتى تتحدى الوصف
اخوتى و اخواتى كانوا بالضبط مثلى
انا تدريجيا عرفت اننى ممتع
اخذت عبر البحار لارض بعيده
انتظرت و تسألت هل ممكن ان يجدوا زوج لى
مع الامل امسكت رأسى عاليا وودت ان ابكى
اعطونى فرصه فانا اعلم انى استطيع ان انجب من هو افضل منى
و حلمت حلم لا يمكن ان يكون
بان الشهره و المجد سوف يأتوا الى
و ان ذريتى ستنتشر فى كل الارض
اقوياء واثقين ملونين واضحين
لقد مضى الوقت وركنت للراحه من مده
و لكن روحى تعيش فى التحدى للافضل
فى نهايه هذا التأريخ اخترنا الافضل
و كل الذين لا يثقون فينا هذا وقتكم للحلم

Memories
I came into the world almost three decades ago – small and not prepossessing.
My feathers were strange and I lowered my face, my wings defied description!
My brothers and sisters were exactly the same.
I gradually learned I was "Interesting".
I was taken to a land far across the sea.
I waited and wondered "would they find a partner for me?"
With hope I held my head up high and I wanted to cry –
"Give my a chance! I know I can breed much better than I!"
I dreamed a dream that could never be.
That fame and honour would come to me.
But my offspring are found all over the globe.
Powerful, Confident, Colourful and Bold.
Time has passed and I have been long laid to rest.
But my spirit lives on, "Challenging to be the Best".
At the end of this era we have reigned Supreme.
All those who doubted us – now it is your turn to dream!
